Performance Assessment Tool for Quality Improvement in Hospitals (PATH):
PATH International Coordination Workshop
Krakow, Poland 20-21 May 2011
We are pleased to invite you to the PATH International Coordination Workshop which is co-organized by WHO Collaborating Centre for Development of Quality and Safety in Health Systems at National Center for Quality Assessment in Health Care in Krakow and WHO Regional Office for Europe.
Workshops have always been major events in the PATH network, providing an opportunity to exchange success and questions regarding the implementation of PATH in different countries.
Krakow workshop will focus on countries' reports on PATH work and quality initiatives, strengthening the PATH model, international benchmarking and comparisons, antibiotic prophylaxis as quality improvement project, university hospitals network, rehabilitation indicators network, follow up on application for EU funds (project raising), update on EU policy in patient safety and quality of care. We would like to revisit the issue of country voluntary twinning we have discussed in Istanbul and Brijunii: the aim is to enable data exchange and common comparative analysis between countries.
The working language will be English.
There is no participation fee, yet you are expected to cover your travel, dinner and accommodation costs.
